U.S.-based consulting firm FTI Consulting has agreed to pay a $1.05 million fine over allegations of violating sanctions imposed on Russia, APA reports.
According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the company participated in transactions related to the debt obligations of Russia’s VTB Bank between 2019 and 2021.
It was noted that FTI Consulting cooperated with U.S. authorities during the investigation.
