Azerbaijan Sugar Production Union LLC, operating under Azersun Holding, has become the second-largest exporter in the non-oil sector, APA reports.
According to the results for January–September 2026, the company's export performance increased significantly compared to the corresponding period of last year. Thus, export volume, which amounted to $46.6 million in the first nine months of 2025, reached $112.1 million in the same period of 2026.
As a result, the company's exports increased by $65.5 million, or 140.6%.
This result is an indication of the strengthening of Azerbaijan Sugar Production Union LLC's production and export potential, as well as its contribution to the development of Azerbaijan's non-oil sector.
Azersun Holding continues its activities aimed at increasing the country's industrial and production potential, enhancing the competitiveness of local products in international markets, and expanding export opportunities in the non-oil sector.
