This week’s attempts by Qatari mediators to broker a diplomatic breakthrough in relations between the US and Iran have collapsed as neither side is willing to budge, APA reports citing Axios.
They said that the lack of significant progress could lead to both sides deciding to resume combat. The portal, like other US media outlets, said that President Donald Trump may order to resume operations after the November midterm elections to Congress.
Axios sources said that Qatar will continue to attempt a diplomatic settlement, but it is disappointed with the actions of both sides.
