According to APA, head of the CIS observation missions Sergei Lebedev said November 7 parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were held in a high level and in accordance with the election legislation of Azerbaijan. He said they were provided with all conditions for observation and 352 observers from 8 CIS countries observed the elections in nearly three thousand polling stations.

Lebedev said there were some technical problems in several polling stations, for example some voters couldn’t find their names in the list of voters and observers were far from the ballot boxes in some polling stations. “After our recommendations observers took seats near the ballot boxes. There were no signals about the serious problems. We adopted draft statement on the results of elections and it will be released after the announcement of final results by CEC”.

Head of the CIS PA observation mission Svetlana Orlova said they observed the voting process in 114 polling stations and concluded that the elections were conducted in democratic, transparent and high-level conditions. She highly appreciated the active participation of women as members of the election commission and local observers.

Representative of the Russian State Duma Elena Dubrovina said the elections were going in calmness, but she made some remarks about less number of posters inviting the voters to vote and lack of information about the candidates in the polling stations. Dubrovina also noticed the low turnout of the voters, but Lebedev protested her remark and said that more than 50 percent of votes are good indicator. He said ink-finger method was not used in the CIS countries and called to leave this method.
