Baku-APA. 49-year old Azerbaijani citizen Shahvalad Mammadov Mammad died, and 26-year old Elvin Gurbanov Imran injured as a result of the explosion, APA’s correspondent at the scene report.
Chief of the Risk Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Jahangir Gulamov told preliminary results of the incident to APA. According to the preliminary investigation the explosion occurred as a result of a gas leak in the boil-house of the sport complex.
Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continue cleaning and searching operation of the wreckage. There is possibility that there are people trapped under wreckage.

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. An explosion has occurred in Baku.
Binagadi District Police Department told APA that the accident has been recorded in Lokomotiv sport complex, Mehdi Huseynzadeh Street 1, Bilajari settlement. According to initial information, fatalities are reported.
Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are at the site.
The Ministry told APA that additional information will be publicized.
