Western Azerbaijan Community submitted extensive Parallel Report to UN Committee on Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia

The Western Azerbaijan Community submitted an extensive Parallel Report to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights regarding the fourth periodic report submitted by Armenia on the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Spokesperson for the Western Azerbaijan Community Ulviyya Zulfikar told APA.

The report highlights Armenia's violation of the said Covenant and other international human rights conventions and calls on the UN Committee to take urgent measures to eliminate human rights violations.

Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia were also stressed in the PArallel Reports.

She stressed that the Western Azerbaijan Community will continue its efforts within the framework of international conventions to restore the right of return of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia.
