Prime Minister Ali Asadov met today with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Hun Manet, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
The meeting emphasized the importance of H. Manet’s official visit to Azerbaijan in terms of the development of bilateral relations and noted that the visit would open new opportunities for further strengthening Azerbaijan-Cambodia friendly ties.
The importance of the Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia held in Baku was noted.
It was emphasized that political dialogue and interaction on multilateral platforms between Azerbaijan and Cambodia are developing successfully, while interparliamentary and interparty relations are also expanding.
The meeting discussed the expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as prospects for developing interaction in the fields of energy, transport and logistics, mine clearance, public services, education and tourism.
