The Western Azerbaijan Community responded to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, APA reports.
“We urge the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk to act in accordance with the mandate of the high position, not to allow the institution led by him to become a cheap political tool in the hands of some circles, to put an end to prejudice and discrimination on religious and ethnic grounds, to support the right of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia to return safely and with dignity, and we urge him to respond to the appeal we sent on August 10, 2023 with a request to protect our rights,” the Western Azerbaijan Community said.
