“Armenia and France continue their attempts to turn the International Organization of the La Francophonie (OIF) into an anti-Azerbaijani platform. In this regard, the recent statements made by the OIF Secretary General in Yerevan are worrisome,” the Western Azerbaijan Community said in a statement, APA reports.
“The fact that the secretary general who stressed the significance of protecting the Armenian cultural heritage in Garabagh, without mentioning the deplorable state of the cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people in Armenia, is a manifestation of obvious bias and double standards.
The Western Azerbaijan Community calls on the OIF Secretary General not to turn into an instrument of dirty policy by Armenia and France against Azerbaijan, and to exercise prudence and responsibility while making statements regarding Azerbaijan,” the community added.
