“Chairman of the German Bundestag Committee on Foreign Affairs, Michael Roth has made a statement on the importance of European Union Mission in Armenia covering the territories of Azerbaijan as well,” Western Azerbaijan Community told APA.
“We demand M. Roth to refrain from this kind provoctive statements against the sovereignty of Azerbaijan. We bring to the attention of Michael Roth that the majority of the territories where the European Union Mission in Armenia patrols were once the territories where the Azerbaijanis lived and were deported. Western Azerbaijan Community believes that M. Roth should call on Armenian government to create conditions for the return of Azerbaijanis to their ancestral homelands, and the European Union Mission to contribute to this process,” the community added.
