The Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Dunja Mijatović, has visited the Western Azerbaijan Community and met with the community leadership and a group of Azerbaijani refugees from Armenia, APA reports.
During a meeting with deputy chair of the Community’s Youth Union, Member of the Milli Majlis Kamal Jafarov and other officials, extensive information was provided about the forced expulsion of Azerbaijanis from Armenia, and it was emphasized that the international community should take urgent measures regarding this violation of human rights.
