Relations with Armenia will be continued at the scientific and legal level, said Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), APA reports.
Farid Shafiyev noted that Armenia is currently trying to continue this war in another form: "Now they are putting forward a number of theses in the information war. One of them is the alleged ethnic cleansing. Of course, all of these are fiction. We must take appropriate measures against it. In fact, ethnic Azerbaijanis who were expelled from West Azerbaijan in 1988 were subjected to the purge. But Armenia claims that they left on their own and there was no expulsion. We need scientific research in this direction. It is true that we have certain publicity tools. But in the absence of scientific research, Western circles do not accept it. In the near future, we will start research in this direction. We need additional strength in this work. We want to involve students."
