Azerbaijani President receives Argentinean Tourism Minister

The head of state expressed satisfaction of successful development of bilateral relations during recent years.

The President noted the opening of Azerbaijani embassy in Argentina would be important for further extension of cooperation: â€œMutual visits play important role in strengthening of relations of the countriesâ€.

The head of state expressed sureness of that Carlos Enrique Meyer would serve to intensify the relation.

In turn, Meyer said that Argentina was interested in extension of relations with Azerbaijan. Touching upon the importance of mutual practice exchange in the development of cooperation, the minister noted the significance of upcoming visit of Azerbaijani tourism sector representatives to Argentina. He said that Argentina intended to take part in the traditional tourism exhibition held in Azerbaijan annually.

The importance of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture, to be held in 2012 in Argentina, was noted in the meeting as well.
