Abulfas Garayev: â€œAZN 2 bln will be invested to the completing process of Winter Olympics Complex in Gusarâ€

Garayev said that a tended was declared to this project for the involvement of international capital to his project.

According to the minister, the measures, which are taken in Gusar on tourismâ€™s development, will seriously influence the decrease of unemploymentâ€™s level.

Garayev said that the state created wide opportunities for the purpose of developing the hotel sector: â€œIf there was a hotel for 6000 people in the country in 2001, at present moment the hotel sector can serve 35 548 peopleâ€.

More 6 new hotels will be opened till the end of this year.

Minister said that the investigation of the domestic tourism will be started for the first time in Azerbaijan this year. This project will be implemented jointly with the World Tourism Organization: â€œSometimes the businessmen construct tourism facility or hotel without consulting with the corresponding organization. Serious problems appear during the familiarization with that facility. In this case we donâ€™t give them a license. Then they start to analyze it differentlyâ€.

Garayev said that the construction of Gobustan Museum of History will be finished till the end of this year.
