Snow expected in Azerbaijan, some roads to be covered with ice

The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA that the temperature will be 2…4 C at night and in the daytime.

On January 29, it will occasionally rain in Azerbaijan’s regions, snow is expected in mountainous and sub-mountainous regions. The roads in mountainous and sub-mountainous will be covered with ice. North wind will intensify in some places.

The temperature -3…2 C at night, 3…8 C in the daytime, in mountains 0…5 C at night, in the highest mountainous places -13…-18 C at night and -3…2 in the daytime.

Rains will occasionally continue by late January, snow is expected in some mountainous and sub-mountainous regions on January 29 and in most regions on January 30-31.

On January 29, the weather will be occasionally rainy in Baku and Absheron peninsula, snow is expected on January 30-31. The temperature will be 2…4 C at night and in the daytime. On January 30, the weather will be 3…4 C at night and in the daytime and -3 C in the evening, on January 31, the weather will be -1…-3 C. North wind will intensify, some roads will be covered with ice.
