In this regard, it’s offered to make amendments to article #55.4 of the Criminal Code and an annex to article # 66.3 in accordance with this amendment, Azerbaijani Parliament told APA.
According to the amendment proposed for article # 55.4, in case if the period of imprisonments are partially or totally aggregated while determining a punishment on the sum of crimes, the upper limit of imprisonment will be 20 years, on the sum of vedicts - 25 years.
Currently, these figures are 15 and 20 consecutively.
In accordance with this amendment, a relevant annex is proposed for article # 66.3.
The project will be put up for discussion at the next meeting of the parliament.
