The Ministry of Education has promulgated the rules for applying the specialization at the level of secondary education.
Specialized classes are currently available at 182 schools situated 5 cities and 36 districts of Azerbaijan, the ministry’s press service told APA.
A separate curriculum for each specialized direction has been prepared and approved. The curriculum includes 30 lessons per week.
Ordinary and specialized classes will be available in all schools with a sufficient number of students. In case the number of students or their choice does not allow the organization of specialized classes at a school, students who have chosen specialized classes will be able to continue their education in the nearest schools with specialized classes available. For students who have not chosen specialized classes, ordinary classes will be organized.
