Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. The number of foreigners registered at the State Social Protection Fund last year rose by 18.8% and reached 17098. In the reporting period the Fund registered 3222 more foreigners.
Press service of the Fund told APA-Economics that as of January 1, 89.8% of the foreigners were men, 10.2% women. Totally, the foreigners covered 100 countries, most of them were from Turkey, Georgia and Russia. 9848 of the registered foreigners are citizens of Turkey, 1881 citizens of Georgia and 904 citizens of Russia.
They are followed by Iran (560), India (422), China (404), UK (247), Uzbekistan (199), Bangladesh (189), Pakistan (156), Germany (151), Ukraine (148), Bosnia and Herzegovina (130), Philippines (127), Italy (117), Turkmenistan (117), Kazakhstan (117), US (105), Malaysia (93).
