The meeting of the Working Group of the Interdepartmental Center for Mine and Unexploded Ordnance Clearance in Jabrayil discussed the progress of humanitarian mine clearance activities in the liberated territories, the upcoming goals and current challenges, APA reports.
The next meeting of the Working Group on Mine and Unexploded Ordnance Clearance, operating under the Interdepartmental Center of the Coordination Headquarters established for the centralized resolution of issues in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held in Jabrayil district.
It was reported that a total of 228,689.9 hectares of land, including 84,146.5 hectares in Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts, were cleared of mines and other explosive devices of war. As a result of the clearance operations, 210,655 explosive devices were detected and neutralized.
