“Our analyses show that everything is in our hands,” Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in response to a question on what the situation might be like next year based on analyses conducted regarding pandemics, APA reports.

Ghebreyesus emphasized that if we are prepared and do everything to prevent pandemics, there is much we can achieve.

"Everything is in our hands. If we are prepared, this will not happen," the Director-General stated.
