The decision made by the French parliament regarding Azerbaijan is the bankruptcy of the institution of parliamentarism in the center of Europe.

The French parliamentarians, who authored the resolution against Azerbaijan yesterday, should actually be ashamed and, first of all, should understand that their country committed a crime against their ancestors. After all, yesterday, the hall where they betrayed the ideas of parliamentarism and justice was once used for important purposes. Back in 1748, Charles Montesquieu, who wrote "On the Spirit of Laws", noted that "a guarantee for the elimination of political betrayals can be a strict division of power into three parts (legislative, executive and judicial) and mutual limitation". Montesquieu's "balance of power" principle, which was first accepted by the United States, and then by other Western countries, has brought the French people up to now.

Montesquieu, one of the most famous philosophers and public speakers in French history, wrote the following about the Azerbaijanis in his work "Iranian Letters" written in 1721: "...No nation in the world can compete with the Tatars in terms of their conquering glory and grandeur... They are the rulers of Iran." . They are the ones who sit solemnly on the thrones of Cyrus and Kystaps. They are called Turks, they have made huge conquests in Europe, Asia and Africa, and they dominate the three continents of the world... This chivalrous nation was busy with its daily glory, believed in its literary invincibility, and did not care at all about the perpetuation of its past victories."

But it is a shame that Macron and his team of politicians failed to claim the intellectual legacy left to them by eminent French historians and philosophers. According to the direct instruction of E. Macron, who did not take ownership of the French Constitution and the people when he was elected as president, yesterday all powerful and opposition MPs of France showed their enmity against our country by voting on the document that was ready for the parliament.

This was not the first step of Macron and his parliament against Azerbaijan. Two years ago, on November 25, the Upper House - Senate, and on December 3, the Lower House - the National Assembly adopted a resolution against Azerbaijan.

Thus, this time, we are not dealing with the real problems and challenges of the country's internal problems, migration challenges, social and national-racial injustice, serious threats to the security of the European Union, but with a region that has nothing to do with them. we saw that they are busy. It was unexpected and incomprehensible for a simple French citizen that Macron's government and parliament regularly made speeches not about the main problems facing the country, but about Azerbaijan in the last 2 months, and that the President expressed support for the separatists in Karabakh by showing a map of them on state television. Currently, according to the results of sociological polls, the trust rating of French President Emmanuel Macron has decreased by 6 percentage points in two months and has reached 32 percent. According to the Elabe company, which conducted a sociological survey for Echos and Radio classique publications, the rating of the French leader has not been so low since the beginning of the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to Macron, the rating of Prime Minister Elizabeth Bourne and other members of the government also fell below 30 percent. The biggest reason for this is that the problems and wishes of the citizens are not taken into account by the Macron government, and it is engaged in idle work.

Indeed, events show that France is currently living in the most shameful period of its time. At a time when there are deep contradictions between different groups due to ideological differences and political-economic views in domestic politics, the official Paris has revealed its incompetence in the system of international relations. France, which considers itself to be the central state of Europe and a permanent member of the UN Security Council, has not yet been able to cope with any international challenges. It is no coincidence that Macron, who showed his lack of diplomacy and lack of understanding of the essence of mediation in the latest war in Ukraine, has been seriously criticized by Ukrainian leader Zelensky many times since February.

In the war in Ukraine and at a time when the European Union is faced with energy and price increases, E. Macron, who does not have the strength and ability to solve the current challenges, seems to have put his policy in the South Caucasus region, which will result in another defeat. However, official Paris has long been removed from the Caucasus negotiations. As a result, today official Baku not only does not accept the OSCE Minsk Group, but is also opposed to the participation of France in the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process. The reason for this is that the third party, which should maintain the balance in conflicts, violates diplomatic rules and chooses a side. It seems that E. Macron, who is bald in diplomacy, does not understand that maintaining balance is the main condition for being a regulator in international conflicts and reconciliation processes.

Another reason why France interfered so rudely in the processes in the South Caucasus is its desire to possess a very important geography in the middle line of Eurasia. At present, the Macron government, whose authority in the Middle East and Africa is seriously damaged, is losing the regions won by the previous authorities one by one. For example, it is already known that France, which until yesterday had the largest share on the African continent, was squeezed by Turkey. The first reason for this is the resentment and hatred of the former colonies against France. France, which is full of historical spots, committed crimes against its former colonies after war and after war, enslaved people for many years, mass-murdered hundreds of people because of their religion and ethnicity, is famous for its policy that annoys the peoples of the whole world. Therefore, the French parliament has no right to accuse Azerbaijan. It would be good for Macron to think about the reasons why he lost influence in the world during his rule. For example, although Turkey is a new country in Africa, it is winning the hearts of many countries of the continent with its sincere approach based on the spirit of trust, mutual interest and partnership. According to a study by the University of Cape Town, Turkey is able to develop its relations with Africa due to its honest relationship with countries on the continent. Turkey has a clean past. Turkey never colonized Africa. Turkey's lack of colonial heritage on the continent creates trust between Africans and Turks and makes its job easier. The results of the research are as follows.

The research stated that Turkey has more than 40 embassies on the whole continent. It was said that Ankara has created many institutions on the continent in less than ten years, distributed humanitarian aid, provided educational scholarships, established schools and supported development projects. So what did France do? France, which killed more than 1.5 million people during the occupation of Algeria, covering the years 1830-1962, and called this country "the country of 1.5 million martyrs". This is the France where, in 1832, the El-Uffia tribe of Algeria put 12,000 people to the sword where they slept at night. Or, in Morocco in August 1907, he killed about 3,000 people who defended his country in events remembered as the "Battle of Casablanca". In 1961, about 5,000 local residents who demanded the closure of the French military base in Tunisia were killed.

Actually, this list is very long. The result is that France has no right to blame Azerbaijan for any issue.

According to the Resolution adopted on November 15, "Azerbaijan's withdrawal from the territory of Armenia and the Lachin Corridor" is required, "the government of Azerbaijan must take measures to protect the Armenian population, Armenian religious and cultural heritage in accordance with the Convention Prohibiting All Kinds of Discrimination dated January 4, 1969." it is demanded, in addition, it is proposed to the French government to "open a humanitarian office in Nagorno-Karabakh", recognition of the independence of the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic", as well as the deployment of peacekeeping forces of international status on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

The Resolution, which is apparently full of absurd proposals and wishes far from reality, proves once again that France cannot be involved in the processes in the region either closely or remotely. The decision taken by the French parliamentarians yesterday is undoubtedly a piece of paper for Azerbaijan. The fact is that official Baku has managed to neutralize Macron from the processes in the South Caucasus, starting from just before the Patriotic War. France should not forget that the victory in the 44-day war was not only over the Armenians, but also over other countries that formed the "Armenian issue" 100 years ago and established a state for them, first of all over France.
