Excursion to Azerbaijani regions was organized for Ukrainian children who were brought to Azerbaijan to be placed in camps and involved in rehabilitation measures by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Ministry told APA.
Children firstly visited Basgal settlement of Ismayilli region and got acquainted with its historical heritage, walked through the settlement that preserved its own color.
Participants’ route was organized to Gabala region the next day. They were taken to recreation centers on top of getting acquainted with the beauty of nature.
Art therapy and personal or group therapy by professional psychologists carried out for children as well. Camp participants will be involved in psycho-social training, English courses, photoshoots, national dances, and master classes.
Excursions to Shaki and Shamakhi will be organized for Ukrainian children.
Children will be supported for stabilization of their emotional states, also, their integration into society will be provided within a 14-day social rehabilitation program.
