An excursion to Shaki was organized for Ukrainian children who were brought to Azerbaijan and placed in camps and involved in rehabilitation measures by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, APA’s local bureau reports.
The children, who were placed in camps in Baku and involved in rehabilitation programs, visited various regions of Azerbaijan. Following their trip to Basgal settlement, Ismayilli district, the Ukrainian children first visited Gabala, and then Shaki.
The children familiarized themselves with historical and architectural monuments in Shaki and toured Khan’s Palace and Caravanserai.
Children will be supported for stabilization of their emotional states, also, their integration into society will be provided within a 14-day social rehabilitation program. They also tasted Shaki cuisine.
Following the Shaki trip, an excursion to Shamakhi will also be organized for the Ukrainian children.
