Türkiye will continue to contribute to the development of the Organization of the Turkic States (OTS) and enhance efforts to strengthen cooperation and unity among member states, Minister of Industry and Technology of Türkiye, Mehmet Kacir told journalists, within the framework of the 1st Meeting of Ministers in Charge of Science, Technology, Industry & Innovation of the OTS, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.
He expressed hope that positive results will be achieved at the second meeting to be held in Azerbaijan next year.
Minister Kacir also emphasized the importance of the upcoming COP29, which will be held in Baku, and wished Azerbaijan success in the implementation of the event.
He noted that Türkiye has made significant achievements in the field of industry and technology, highlighting an increase in the number of industrial zones from 192 to 361 in the country.
“Today, Türkiye is the country that exports the most products to the most countries in a competitive manner, from China to Europe. We will strive to share all our achievements and innovation successes in our technoparks more with the member countries of the Organization of the Turkic States and to draw inspiration from their achievements and experiences,” he stated.
