A delegation led by the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye Bekir Şahin, who are on a visit to Azerbaijan have visited Shusha, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan told APA.
The trip participants visited Jidir plain, Yukhari Govhar Agha and Ashaghi Govhar Agha mosques, Castle walls, Ganja gate and a number of historical and cultural monuments, observed with regret the severe consequences of vandalism, and got closely acquainted with the restoration and construction works done in the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
The delegation who also visited Fuzuli as a part of the visit, noted that the renovation works carried out there, the purposeful and large-scale projects as well as the newly constructed housing estates and other social facilities have made a great impression on them.
As a continuation of the moral and political support Türkiye gave to Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War, the guests stressed the importance of the close participation of the brotherly country in the construction works as well.
