"Over 56 million manats have been invested in Khankendi, Khojaly, and Aghdara. Significant progress has been made in restoring the economy, enabling economic activity, and ensuring employment in the liberated territories, said Elchin Yusubov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Khankendi city and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, speaking at the 6th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth held in Khankendi, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
According to him, a total of 506 properties across the region have been made available for lease: “374 in Khankendi, 35 in Aghdara, and 97 in Khojaly have been handed over for use by entrepreneurs. Most of these properties have already started operations. So far, more than 56 million manats have been invested by investors in the region. More than 2,000 people have been employed in the facilities that have begun operations. Once the remaining properties under current agreements become operational, the number of jobs is expected to exceed 5,000.”
