"It will be possible to complete 87% of the planned works as part of the gasification program of SOCAR "Azerigas" Production Union for 2022 by the end of the year," said the head of the Public Relations Department of the public union as he delivered a speech at the "Open Door" action, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the reason why the program is fully implemented this year is not due to financial issues or lack of manpower. A certain part of the goods and materials is brought from outside the country, and the conflicts around the world, especially the Russia-Ukraine issue, have fundamentally affected the work of "Azerigas."
The head of the department said that the gasification of 14 villages and 38 residential areas has already been provided by the end of October as a part of the works planned, while completion works are underway in 39 villages and 23 new residential areas.
"Gasification works in the remaining 16 villages and one residential area will be completed in the first quarter of 2023," Eldeniz Valiyev said.
