The protest action on the Lachin-Khankendi road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the territories of Azerbaijan under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers continues, APA’s correspondent assigned to Shusha reports.
Revival is observed in the protest in the afternoon.
Despite the cold and frosty weather, the protestors do not intend to leave the site. Their demands remain unchanged.
Currently, eco-activists and young volunteers voice slogans “Azerbaijan is awake, and is a support to its resources!” “Azerbaijan is single, it supports its reserves!”, “End to ecological crime!”, “Stop eco-terror” , "Берегите природу!", "Экоциду нет! Мониторингу да!" in the part of Lachin-Khankandi road passing through Shusha city.
Protest participants noted that there is no hindrance in the action site of Lachin-Khankandi road for the movement. The road is completely open for humanitarian purposes.

The protests started on December 12 of last year and continue for two months today.
