On November 26-28, a Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Science, Technology and Applications and the Technical Cooperation Programme was held in Vienna, the capital of Austria, organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), APA reports.
The event was attended by Nijat Aliyev, Head of the State Agency for Regulation of Nuclear and Radiological Activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and Matanat Gahramanova, Head of the Agency's Nuclear and Radiation Safety Expertise Department.
Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations also participated in a number of side events and technical meetings within the framework of the conference.
