The remains of Vagif Sardar Aliyev, who was martyred in the First Garabagh War and whose burial place and identity were determined 31 years later, were laid to rest in Ganja, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to the report, the remains of the martyr were buried in Ganja’s Alley of Martyrs today.
The leadership of Ganja Executive Authority, representatives of law enforcement agencies, martyr’s comrades and family members, families of martyrs and veterans took part in the funeral ceremony.
It should be noted that Vagif Sardar Aliyev was born in 1966 in Goshabulag village of Gadabey district. In 1993, he went missing in the direction of Sirkhavand village of Aghdam district .
31 years later, his remains were found and identified.
