The remains of the martyr Rasulov Rahim Alyar, who was captured in the First Garabagh War, killed in captivity, and whose burial place and identity were determined after 33 years, were handed over to his family, APA reports.
Today a farewell ceremony was held at the residence of the martyr's family in Sumgait. Family members, relatives and public representatives of the martyr participated in the farewell ceremony. The remains of martyr Rahim Rasulov were buried in Sumgait Alley of Martyrs.
It should be noted that R. Rasulov was born in 1967 in the city of Sumgait. In 1991, he volunteered for military service.
He was captured during the battles in the direction of Karkijahan settlement. He was detained in Khankandi and was killed there.
It was found that the remains of his body were buried in Alley of Martys in Yevlakh, and his identity was determined.
