The remains of Moysum Murad Aliyev, a missing martyr of the First Karabakh War, have been handed over to his family, APA's Karabakh bureau reports.
A farewell ceremony for the fallen serviceman was held in Second Mahmudlu village of the Fuzuli district.
The ceremony was attended by the martyr's family members, representatives of the District Executive Authority, law enforcement officers, military personnel, war veterans, and members of the public.
A funeral prayer was performed. The martyr's remains were buried at the village cemetery under the accompaniment of a military orchestra and a gun salute.
Note that Moysum Aliyev was born in 1973 in the Fuzuli district. He took part in the fighting during the First Karabakh War and went missing in 1994 during battles in the direction of Ashaghi Abdurrahmanli village in the Fuzuli district.
