The remains of Allahverdiyev Shamseddin Avaz - a serviceman of the Azerbaijani Army who went missing during the I Garabagh War - were found in a mass grave after 30 years, and brought to Fuzuli district of Azerbaijan, APA’s Garabagh bureau reports.
The remains of the martyr were laid to rest in the cemetery of Mahmudlu village of Fuzuli district.
A funeral is held in the 9th Gayidish settlement of Fuzuli district. Martyr's family members, relatives, officials, and public representatives participated in the funeral.
Allahverdiyev Shamsaddin Avaz was born on June 9, 1971 in the village of Ishikli, Fuzuli district. He voluntarily joined the army during the first Karabakh war. He went missing on July 23, 1993 in Juvarli village of Fuzuli district.
