As a result of the successive diplomatic efforts to reach a humanitarian agreement between the decision-makers, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) today delivers wheat flour and medical supplies to those who are in need through the Lachin and Aghdam roads, said Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia for the ICRC Ariane Bauer, APA reports.
“I hope that this agreement will prepare a ground to carry out our exceptional humanitarian operations today and in the coming weeks. In accordance with our fundamental principles of neutrality, impartiality, and independence, our goal is to be able to support those who need help the most," she said.
