On September 27, a documentary film themed "Zafar Zangi" (“Victory Bell”), dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the 44-day Patriotic War, was presented at Karabakh University in the city of Khankendi, the Public Relations Department of the Reconstruction, Construction, and Management Service in the cities of Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly told APA's Karabakh bureau.

The presentation began with a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs, followed by the playing of the National Anthem.

Then the film’s scriptwriter, honored journalist, and head of the Public Relations Department of the Reconstruction, Construction, and Management Service in Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly, Afet Telmanqizi, delivering a speech, stated that showcasing a film in Khankendi reflecting the heroism of our warriors brings a great sense of pride:

Sonra filmin ssenari müəllifi, əməkdar jurnalist, Xankəndi şəhərində, Ağdərə və Xocalı rayonlarında Bərpa, Tikinti və İdarəetmə Xidmətinin ictimaiyyətlə əlaqələr şöbəsinin müdiri Afət Telmanqızı çıxış edərək, Xankəndidə qəhrəmanlarımızın şücaətini göstərən filmin nümayişinin böyük bir qürur hissi yaşatdığından danışıb:

"44 days — the end of a 30-year longing, the beginning of Victory. For 44 days, our people were united as one heart, one fist. Thousands of our brave soldiers shielded their lives to liberate our lands. This history, written in the blood of our martyrs, was achieved through the strength of our army and the unity of our people. Today, the land we stand on, our homeland, is free. Our state sovereignty is now complete, our territories whole, and our borders inviolable. Long live our Victory, long live Azerbaijan!"

A. Telmanqizi stated that through this film, we will honor our history, our pride, and our victory. We will once again remember the most glorious pages of our past:
"Let this presentation be a prayer for the souls of our martyrs, a gesture of gratitude to our veterans, and a roadmap for our youth."

Martyr’s father, Kamran Nasirov, a resident of Khankendi, spoke about the battle path of his son Xaqani and proudly shared that he lives on the land his son liberated at the cost of his life. Special Forces member Aslan Sharifov talked about stepping into the liberated Khankendi for the first time today and shared his memories of those days. A video clip reflecting the openings and relocations in Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly was also shown today.

It should be noted that the presentation ceremony was attended by employees of the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly, staff of the Reconstruction, Construction, and Management Service, heads of state institutions operating in Khankendi, veterans, members of martyr families, intellectuals, and media representatives.
