"The preliminary assessment works on mineral deposits in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan have been completed and submitted to the relevant state authorities," Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Vugar Karimov said, APA reports.
According to him, there are projects related to the exploitation of many mineral deposits in the next periods.
"In order to meet the demand for building materials for the implementation of construction works in Azerbaijan's newly built cities - Agdam, Fuzuli, Jabrayil and others, the Geological Exploration Agency is carrying out resource assessment," the deputy minister noted.
