Free passage of Armenian descent people through the Lachin border crossing point was provided once again, APA’s Garabagh bureau reports.
The Armenian-origin residents have come from Khankandi and crossed to the Gorus direction.
In general, 60 people have crossed to Armenia from Azerbaijan. Initially, the documents of those people were checked over and their free movement was ensured.
Foreign media representatives have also observed the free crossing of Armenians.
Those who pass through the border checkpoint and go in the direction of Armenia are mainly those who support and try to inflame separatism in the territory of Azerbaijan.
Both they and those behind them realized that they could not continue this dirty game regarding Azerbaijan, so they had to leave Garabagh.
Official Baku has always declared at various levels that only those who respect the laws of Azerbaijan and accept to live by these laws can stay here. The doors are open for those who do not accept this condition, they can leave here and live anywhere they want.
Today, most of the people who left Garabagh and went to Armenia are people who have accepted Russian citizenship and carry Russian passports.
Events show that scenarios like Transnistria and Donbas did not work in Azerbaijan, the claim of "Russian peace" did not come true here.
This voluntary process is expected to be continuous. The rest can take Azerbaijani citizenship, live according to the laws of Azerbaijan and even live better. And for those who do not accept this, the border is open, they can go wherever they want.
