The delegation of the OIC, IPHRC visited the Karagaci cemetery and Alley of Martyrs of the freed Agdam region, APA's Karabakh bureau reports.
The staff of the Ombudsman's office and the delegation of the OIC IPHRC conducted on-site monitoring at the Karagaci cemetery and martyrs' alley in Agdam region.
The guests were informed that cemeteries were destroyed by Armenian vandals during the occupation. Graves were dug and corpses were insulted. The tombstones were dismantled and moved from the area. In addition, it was reported that there was a park in the territory of the Martyrs' Alley before the occupation. Most of those who were martyred in Khojaly are buried here. The graves of our national heroes are also here.
The visit of the delegation has ended. The last place they visited was Juma Mosque.
