The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources held the next tree planting event today on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, with the participation of Ministry officials, marshals and employees of Baku City Circle, teaching and student staff of Azerbaijan Medical University, and volunteers, said the Azerbaijani Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, APA reports.
During the tree planting campaign held in Mushfigabad settlement on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, who has always placed a high value on increasing greenery and environmental health, Eldar pine and olive trees suitable for the soil and climate conditions of the Absheron peninsula were planted.
The goal of tree planting events is to honor Great Leader Heydar Aliyev's memory and to carry on the National Leader's traditions of caring for nature and greenery.
