The international conference "DOST 2023: A Unified Platform for the Provision of flexible, innovative and sustainable services" in the field of social services on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and the 5th anniversary of the DOST - Agency for Sustainable and Operative Social Provision kicks off for the first time in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
50 foreign and 110 local guests, as well as 40 international organizations, are participating in the two-day conference that’s being held at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
Christian Fillet, the Chairman of the European Social Network (ESN), Chairman of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations Ulvi Mehdiyev, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov delivered a speech as honored guests.
The main objectives of the conference are to bring together existing practices on a single platform, identify trends, increase the level of recognition of the DOST concept further, make wider awareness about DOST services in the international community, etc. The conference, consisting of two plenary and three parallel sessions, continues with presentations, panel discussions, and speeches by local and international experts on various topics.
