"There is an increase in the import of hybrid and electric cars to the country," said Faig Mutallimov, Head of the Environmental Policy department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Azerbaijani Republic at the "Exper hour", APA reports.
He said that in 8 months of this year, 13 percent more hybrid cars were imported compared to the relevant period of last year:
"Also, the import of electric cars has increased by 4.5 times. The number is not so big. AIn total, more than 200 cars were imported".
