Within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in Baku this month, with representatives from various countries and international organizations a series of events will be organized in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, to engage in comprehensive discussions on topics such as human development, green jobs, decent work for all, and social protection, the Ministry told APA.
At the event, which will bring together ministers as well as high-level officials from various countries, UN agencies, and other international organizations, the impacts of the transition to a climate-resilient economy on the labor market, increasing the resilience of human capital to climate events through better social protection and enhanced skills, and the value of creating synergies between education, healthcare, employment, and skills in strengthening human development will be revised.
