Fines for the illegal cutting of trees, bushes, or other greenery are changing, and penalties are being tightened, this was reflected in the proposed amendments to the Criminal Code discussed at today's session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament), APA reports.
According to the new Article 253.6 proposed to the Code of Administrative Offenses, discussed at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis, individuals will be fined from 1,000 to 1,200 manats for this, and officials from 2,000 to 2,500 manats.
The draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
