"Women have actively been involved in resolution of post-conflict period problems," Assistant to First Vice President Elchin Amirbayov at the conference on "Woman, peace, and security: Role of women in restoration works in post-conflict period" held with joint organization of Center of Analysis of International Relations and UN Delegation in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
E. Amirbayov has noted that a condition should be created for women's necessary contribution to restoration works after conflict: "Azerbaijani government is ready to create a condition for it. Azerbaijan has set a new geopolitical condition, allowing development in the South Caucasus, by putting an end to the 30-year occupation."
Assistant to First Vice President has added that the development passes through implementation of issues, reflected in trilateral statements of Azerbaijani, Russian, and Armenian leaders: "Azerbaijan believes that there is no an alternative for peaceful approach with Armenia. Azerbaijan expects Armenia to adapt its politics to new geopolitical reality"
