Deputy Minister: 132 hectares of new green areas created in Zangilan, Jabrayil, Aghdam and Fuzuli districts

According to the territorial planning documents of the liberated districts, a total of 132 hectares of new green areas have been planted in the territories of Zangilan, Jabrayil, Aghdam, and Fuzuli districts, said the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Vugar Karimov, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Lachin reports.

He noted that, taking into account plans for clearing forest fund areas from mines and unexploded ordnance, planting and sowing works have been carried out on a total of 286 hectares of forest fund land in the territories of Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli, and Fuzuli districts: "During the autumn planting season of 2025, planting and sowing works are planned to be carried out on 240 hectares of forest fund land. Currently, soil preparation works are ongoing in the areas."
