A delegation led by Deputy General Commander of Gendarmerie of Türkiye, Army General Ali Çardakçi has arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit at the invitation of the country’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov, the ministry told APA.
Ali Çardakçi and those who accompanied him first visited the Alley of Honor to pay tribute to national leader Heydar Aliyev and put flowers at his tomb.
Then they visited the Eternal Flame Complex and Turkish Martyrs’ Memorial at the Alley of Martyrs.
Minister of Internal Affairs Vilayat Eyvazov then met with a delegation led by Army General Ali Çardakçi.
