According to the World Health Organization, the number of infections worldwide increased by 38% in the last month. In Europe, the increase in infection was 39%, in the western Pacific 52%, and in the eastern Mediterranean 113%.
Korea, Italy, Great Britain, Australia, and Singapore have recorded a sharp increase in the number of infections.
