A meeting was held with heads of BioPharmax company of Israel which is one of the leading companies in the production of medical products, in the Ministry of Health Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Ministry told APA.
Azerbaijani Minister of Health Teymur Musayev highlighted that the relations between the two countries successfully develop: “Our cooperation in the fields of health and science is exemplary. Israel is one of the countries which have an advanced education and health system. At the same time, our cooperation in the high-tech fields of health- in virology, microbiology, and other directions is constructive”.
Stressing the highly developed relations in the field of pharmacy between Azerbaijan-Israel, Health Minister pointed out that a strong pharmaceutical industry has been created in Israel, the scientific research base has been developed, and innovations have been applied in the field of pharmaceutical production.
In the end, Teymur Musayev expressed hope that the further development of cooperation will continue successfully from now on.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome, Vice-president of the “BioPharmax” company Yossi Tzabari noted that the company which he is representing is interested in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan in medical education, digital transformation of healthcare and other fields. He also said that the use of quality medical equipment industry in Azerbaijan is vital.
At the end of the meeting, both parties held discussions on developing cooperation.
