Conditions for another free passage of the Armenian population of Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region from the Lachin state border checkpoint operating on the Hakari River on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border have been created with the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), APA reports.
After being inspected at the checkpoint in accordance with the rules, the passage to Armenia of 7 vehicles and 34 people moving from Khankandi in the direction of Gorus was ensured.
Of those 34 people, 11 were members of the International Committee of the Red Cross, 12 with medical needs and 10 family members accompanying them, as well as 1 medical staff.
