Within the framework of the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty," and on the eve of the professional holiday and 107th anniversary of the Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, an international conference in the format of a roundtable titled "Guardians of Sovereignty: Constitutional Status of the Prosecutor's Office" was held on September 22 at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, organized by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
Heads of the prosecutor’s offices of Uganda, Laos, Tanzania, Kenya, representatives of the Turkish Prosecutor General’s Office, as well as the leadership and other staff of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the conference.
Before the conference, participants visited the grave of the national leader, Heydar Aliyev, at the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs.
At the conference, the address of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to the participants was delivered by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev.
